Working out post op.

How long after surgery did you start doing simple cardio like the treadmill?? I'm a week out today and I know I'm not quite ready. I think I will be soon but I'd like to know when some of you started.

I started 3 weeks post op :)

I would talk to your doctor. Each doctor has their own requirements.

I was allowed to exercise after 8 weeks. 8 weeks to the date I was playing indoor soccer. Boy was I tired After that.

Don't rush it. Your body has to heal!

I was on the treadmill two weeks after surgery...abdominal exercises and weights after six. Ask your doc and listen to your body. Feel well and good luck!
