Venting

Okay, I hit onederland today. I was very excited and texted my husband with the news since he was at work already. I've told a fair amount of people about my surgery and my husband had permission from me to tell his co-workers about it. He did not, however, have permission to tell them about onederland. In my opinion that was very personal. I don't particularly want his co-workers to know my starting or current weight. Well, he was "proud" and shared the news. I feel guilty being upset because I know he had good intentions, but I am upset. :(

It's natural to feel like that. What's done is done . He can't take it back anymore. If he apologized, let it go.

Some other major news will probably push yours in the background and it won't be so prime time anymore.

Congrats on making it to 1derland! Great acomplishment!

Give him a break :) your lucky he's supporting u so much. He's proud and celebrating with u. Awesome news by the way Congrats!!!

I can totally understand how you feel. I will say at least he was so proud of you he wanted to share it! And im sure not a single person even thought about the number and they were just as proud!!! Be happy that so many people are happy for you!

It sounds like he was proud and very happy for you! A lot of men don't understand how women feel about weight. I would say that if you didn't clearly tell him what not to share you should just let it go. To avoid it in the future explain to him what is acceptable to make public and what you'd like to remain private. Then celebrate! :-)
