Food Tastes Funny

I am 3 1/2 months post surgery I have little to no appetite. Most foods taste funny and I'm having difficulty getting in the amount of protein I am suppose to have. Has anyone else found their taste buds altered after surgery?

      Oh they have changed for sure !!!! I lost my taste for a lot of things and my taste has changed as well. I'm not complaining because its all for the better !

    Absolutely mine did. I went with bland food and for protien smoothies I used Torani SF flavored syrups

    I find that I can now taste the chemicals & artificial flavors & additives in everything now.
