Drinks

M having a party on the 25th an id be a little sad if I have to be the only sober one ...how long after surgery can I start having a drink?

This is different for everybody. The best thing I can recommend is to follow your surgeons rules on when to start to eat and drink things (including alcohol). In my case it is six months out but that is my NUT. Keep in mind because of the surgery we get intoxicated A LOT quicker then before. One drink could be too much.

I always tell people that if you are going to drink make sure you are with people you trust. It goes to our heads much quicker than before.

However I will say being the only sober one is actually a lot of fun. You are able to see what drinking does to people and then make fun of them!
