The waiting game is the worst....

Hi, I'm Jill and I'm new here. I have completed all my requirements for the sleeve, but it's been a long emotional road to say the least.

I started with the requirements in August of last year. Everything was going fine with my appointments until the surgeon's office submitted my packet to United Health care before it was completed. Needless to say I was denied. Now I have BCBS insurance and a new surgeon! I'm just waiting to hear if I was approved and get my date!! I was told sometime in December. I'm so anxious I can't wait!! I am so ready for this that I approved by ready started my pre op diet and I'm down 11 lbs!

Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself. :)

Thanks! I have heard that it's easier to get an approval through BCBS than UHC so I'm happy about that! I think I will get approved since I have a bmi of 50 and high blood pressure, but you never know!

Good Luck!! I hope for you to join the December Sleeve Group there is about 80+ people in there that are having surgery in december including myself and some who are just hoping to find out there date soon. Everything will work out.
