My request was submitted on 10/18 and I was approved on 10/29!!! Finally. I am ready!!!! Surgery date is 12/17

      I did the same thing! I purposely scheduled my surgery on Dec 18 so that I wouldn't have to ask for too much time off from work since I'm off until Jan 2nd. No drinking and eating for us this holiday

    My job closes from 12/20 - 1/2 so I figured I could recover without using personal time.

    I know I figure there isn't anything I would eat that I haven't had already so the only thing I'm losing will be pounds.
