Beaumont, TX- Dr. Schrapps

Hi all! I'm just beginning my sleeve journey in Beaumont, TX with Dr. Schrapps. Does anyone have any experience with this doctor or Christus St. Elizabeth?

I'm in Beaumont as well. My insurance only covered hospitals in Houston, so I did use him, but if you have any WLS questions, I'd be happy to help.

He is my surgeon. I had my surgery on nov 18. I didn't have any problems. It's a center of excellence so I was good with that

That's so comforting! Did your insurance cover anything?

I wish. My insurance doesn't cover any kind of bariatric anything. My sister loaned me the money and I'm paying her back

How much was it for self pay?

$12450. That is the hospital fee, anesthesia, and the doctor fee.
