Had my surgery Monday. After I left the recovery room, I felt like I could do cartwheels! I think I got a little cocky, because the second day was harder. Pain was never an issue, but I fought with nausea the whole second day. I couldn't keep anything down, but my doctor released me anyway because he said today would be much better. Thankfully he was right!
I really thought that I would be okay with telling everyone. I mean, I'm ashamed of being big, I shouldn't have to be ashamed because I'm trying to fix that, right? However, I had to tell my boss today and it was very emotional for me. She kept asking if I had thought about all of my options and asking me if I really thought I could go through with the surgery. I am now reconsidering how many times I really want to go through that.
Hi all! I'm just beginning my sleeve journey in Beaumont, TX with Dr. Schrapps. Does anyone have any experience with this doctor or Christus St. Elizabeth?
