Soup?

Alright, so I have a question. I'm 7 days post op and cleared for full liquids today.

I just had some Soup, but haven't felt full yet. I only had the 3 tablespoons as per my plan. I did stop at that and haven't had anymore.

Is this normal? I had some yogurt earlier and did feel the full then.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

perfectly normal - the more liquid a food is, the less it will fill you up. The pyloric valve opens right up for liquids and lets them pass through immediately. Definitely a good thing to measure out the correct amount and stop when that is gone. :)

Yep, you will start to feel more restriction once you are on solid foods. No worries! Enjoy your new tummy!
