Returning to normal

This week has been crazy.

I went back to work after being off for 6 weeks. That was much harder than I expected. I'm on light duty for 2 weeks, with a lifting max of 35lbs. (I have a very physical job.) But man, 12 hours on night shift was HARD. Did not expect to be so tired, when I had felt pretty good over the last couple of weeks. Very happy I only had to do 3 shifts this week.

But, after taking yesterday to recover from my work rotation, I feel pretty great. I even went to Zumba for the first time since surgery. And bonus, my workout clothes are too big : )

Very proud of myself this week. I survived. I ate on plan. I got stronger.

I can do this!

I was sleeved on 10/1 and today is my first day back. It's tiring! I work 3 in a row, 12's also. This day could speed up and be over sooner but it has not been bad, just tiring.
