I cheated. :(

I'm on day 3 of my clear liquid only diet. I'm starving and exhausted. I cheated yesterday and had a grilled cheese, today a banana and a brownie. I feel horrible and guilty.

Any words of encouragement..

Hi put it behind you and start again to make good choices, now that you realize what you have done do no continue to dwell on it, tell your self I am going to take one day at a time , and remember why you are going through this, we are not all perfert and we all make mistakes, the key is that you know what mistakes you have made and you know what you need to do to correct your actions.

Thank you! I needed that.

Are you drinking any clear liquids like isopure? Protein will help keep hunger at bay.

No worries, just get right back to it. Good luck.

I'm only aloud broth sf jello & sf Popsicles coffee tea and diet soda.

i cheated on my pre op too and felt really guilty but now im 5 mo out and over 100 lbs down, just stay focused on the goal ahead, we all have road blocks but just keep your eye on the prize! its all in your head. There's going to be a lot of head hunger in your future but just make sure you are constantly drinking it'll help surpass it! and if you can have any protein water in your diet, try that cuz like someone else said, the protein will definitely help curb the appetite

Start fresh, now, today. You can do this! Wonderful things are ahead for you, just keep your eye on the prize!

good luck!

If you just can't seem to get through, talk to your doctor and see if he'll allow a small amount of lean protein. I was allowed three ounces of lean meat a day and it was just what I needed to get through.

I should add that my friend had the same diet you did, called in and said I'm struggling and was only then allowed the meat.
