snacks

I am wondering what kind of snacks everyone is eating? I found some trail mixes are pretty good for you and nuts. Along with yogurt and sugar free popsicles. I have also stocked up on string cheese. I would love to add some more things into my life that have some more protein content in it. Sometimes the same things get old. I bought a few protein bars that had lots of protein but tasted horrid

I found a Nature Valley granola that has 10g of protein for a 1/2 cup. I'll put some in vanilla greek yogurt and have for lunch sometimes. I usually can't finish the whole thing.

I have tired weight watchers lil cream cakes it's only 90 cals and its so good such a treat and also low fat graham crackers, and Kellogg pastry treats 100 cals.. and frozen yogurt.

Hello AmBeR09, I am 10 months out but still snacking a ruff situation because what I find has also the fat I don't want in it. Some snacks are considered slider's as well, so watch out, watch that you do not over consume them, sliders have a tendency to fill you up less because they don't fill the space in you stomach with the same volume that you see when you see them in a bowl or on a plate. So, I like chips and found a few and eat another crunchy one, I may revisit with some more info later, unsure. I LOVE my Protein hot chocolate, Ostrim Beef Jerky, and protein barbecue chips at Bariatric Choice! They have SO many delicious protein treats there. I found them when someone here at VST posted a referral.

I do like yogurt but even with all the different flavors it seems like it gets old. I do want to see if anyone sells PB2 in my town to open more options to me too.

I eat the Yoplait 100 cal Greek yogurt, protein bars & nuts. For the nuts, I may do a trail mix, or sometimes I mix the nuts with some sugars free yogurt covered raisins.

I don't know if you have a Stop and Shop where you live, but I recently found pb2 there.

I found PB2 at the smoothie King when I went there yesterday! Do you have a Smoothie King??

Not sure where you are, but they sell PB2 at my local grocery store (Kroger). It's in the natural/organic food section.

Walmart gas it now too.

I realize this might not be for everyone, but one of my go-to snacks from the beginning has been Louis Kemp imitation crab legs with a small amount of cocktail sauce. 3 legs are only 70 calories and have 6 grams of protein. My sleeve tolerates them very well. They last a long time in the fridge, and are pretty filling.
