3 days on the liquid diet, down 10.6 pounds!

Doing the optifast liquid diet: shakes and soups, can have SF jello & low fat yogurt. Man this is the hardest thing I've ever done but keeping busy seems to make things easier. How's everyone liquid diet going and how much have you lost?

Hi! My surgeon is also Dr. Zare. I am scheduled for Nov. 26 to be sleeved. How's the liquid diet? Is it super hard. Where can I purchase them? Let me know how the surgery goes and what your biggest obstacles are. Good luck!!

Hi ya, the liquid diet isn't too bad. They ease you in the beginning first replacing Breakfast then lunch then full liquids with only healthy foods so I just ate salads. They'll give you the shakes so no need to purchase. You can have everything I listed earlier and they recommend just Water and Crystal Light so that's what I've been using. It's tough but I've been distracted myself with work, also I binged like crazy before starting so I guess I fulfilled my cravings and I'm now super focused. Also the Jello and yogurt has been a huge help.

All in all, tough but doable
