Fluid in ankles

Hi sleevers,

Does anyone have experience of an improvement in Fluid retention in ankles after weight loss?

I'm told this is a long term result of high blood pressure. Something about the veins being weakened.

What i'm kinda hoping is that less weight will help too, and it can't hurt my poor arthritic feet to carry less anyway.

But i do hope there's an improvement in my veins ability to return fliud from the extremities.

Damn I wish I'd been a good boy earlier....

I have seen a drastic difference since the surgery. I only swell now when I eat anything with higher carbs and artificial sweetners. Trying to stay as low carb as possible.

One week post op and it was all gone. 3 weeks later, everything still looks nice and depuffed lol I keep looking at my feet and saying "I have bony feet??!"
