Cold feet the day before!

I'm scheduled for my sleeve tomorrow in the morning. I have been very excited about this but today I became quite nervous and began questioning my decision to move forward with this. I've been reevaluating, reconsidering, and finding ways to work through self-doubt today. I felt nauseous, lightheaded and and uneasy in my body as well. I just spent an hour visiting with my husband and am feeling better, but I wondered if anyone else struggled like this?

  • Yes, I think we all did! Good luck tomorrow!

  • I didn't sleep the night before, I cried as they wheeled me down the hall to the OR. 5 weeks out. Worth it.

My surgery date isn't until the 21st, but, I KNOW, I'm going to do the same. But, the bottom line is I really have to do this to get the best out of my future life. Being 50 has really made me realize that I want to live to the best of my ability and having this surgery will help me to achieve that.
