Stitches!

Tomorrow I am six weeks post-op and I have a stitch trying to come out of my skin about a half inch below my incision. Has anyone else had this happen?

I'd call your dr office and speak to someone about it. Sounds a little like you may need a dr to look at it to me.

I had stitches due to a car accident a while back and had the same thing happen to me. I was told by the dr.'s office to wipe it with alchohol and if a piece is sticking out, cut it off with a sterilized fingernail clipper. Sterilize it by wiping it with alchohol. Cut it as close to the skin as possible and then gently rub it with your finger. It's probably a desolvable stitch anyway. I never had another problem with it after that. This is just a suggestion for you... Good luck!

Thank you! That is what the Dr. said too. I just wondered if anyone else ever had this. Feeling better, thanks again. :)
