I was banded Monday. I am exhausted, terrible gas pains and can't take more than 2 sips in a half hour period. I plan to return to work Monday and I still can't brush my teeth!

Give yourself some time to adjust. I am 7 days post op and feel a little better each day. I am still sore and a bit bloated. I don't think I did anything but sleep for the first 4 days. Around day 5 I had more motivation and no more need for any pain/nausea meds. Just listen to what your body is telling you it needs. Best wishes to you both!

Was banded 2 days ago has anyone experienced extreme tiredness I know it might be pain killers but I can't keep my eyes open so frustrating

you should be tired for several days rest and heal , you will feel better soon

It will get better but now is the time to be kind to yourself and rest up. I took two weeks off of work because I wanted to really focus on myself during that pre-op time with a lot of time to walk and rest and it was a lifesaver for me!
