Only 3 more sleeps til surgery!

I'm like a kid the night before Xmas and I still have 3 days! Trying to sleep on my back to no avail. I've always been a stomach sleeper but would always wake up with one arm completely asleep. I've been able to mostly transition into a side sleeper but can't get comfortable on my back! Was anyone able to sleep on their side after surgery?

I was able to sleep on my side immediately after surgery. I just used a pillow to support my stomach.

Everyone is different.

I just recently had 2 knee replacements, 4wks apart. That was a different story. I found placing pillows on each side of my body, where my arms layed up on top of them and having a couple pillows under my head, keeping me elevated helped a lot. You can see a lot of trial and error went into this.lol

Good luck!

i am only a side sleeper. slept on my side even in the hospital. sometimes i even get on my stomach. no problems.
