you can have soup but should be strained of anything else in it.

Depending on what type, it's more of a slider food. You'll get full, but you may not stay satisfied for as long as if you ate a piece of chicken and some veggies. Make sense?

My surgeon told me that the only time that eating and drinking is okay is when you eat soup or eat cereal. Other then that you should not eat and drink at the same time.

Yes that makes sense thanks I wasn't very clear. I was banded in jan 13'. I have only had soup on liquids after banded and fills. Now that it's getting cold I've been craving it!!!! I will stick to 1 cup of healthy soup. Thanks
