4 days post op

Hello there I had my surgery 4 days ago, is it normal to not have any hunger sensations or the desire to eat at all? I thought I would still want to chew something even though I was on liquids but ?I have no desire to eat at all.

That's normal...your stomach is still swollen from your surgery...I didn't care if I ate or drink...but it's important to constantly sip so you don't get dehydrated ! Happy healing :-)

Lucky u I am 4 days post op and I'm feelin hungry ...I mean the loudest tummy growel I've ever heard!!!

Well I hope that I don't get hunger pains post op.

Right now I am no where i never drank while eating even before the banding, but my problem, now is i have my mind set not to eat that i am not hungry , i ate something small last night and full me up was banded on Oct 7 2013 so not sure when i should start to eat i was told by my doctor eat next day nurse told me wait a few days still have no desire to really eat. i had a protein shake earlier today just to maintain health. am i the only one feeling like this or not.

I was banded the same day.. My Dr told me to liquid diet till I "felt hungry" then to go to soft foods .. I had 1 soft meal yesterday and 2 today.. It is probably normal that you haven't felt hunger yet, I'd say make sure to have a Protein Shake or something if you're not hungry but do for a meal

I was banded on the 7th and am on Clear Liquids until I see my doctor on the 16th. Throughout this past week my family has eaten every food under the sun that I would want and even though it smells good I canny imagine eating it! I still have so much gas I don't want anything to eat! I hope that he at least allows me to move to full liquids by next week !
