Port site soreness

I am 4 months post op. I have been doing well with my diet and band although on my last fill my dr didn't find my port right away like the last two fills he had to jam around then found it, ever since then I have had soreness around the area and it has been 4 weeks since that happened. I also have pain lower than my port but every once on awhile. My port is on my left side about 2-3 inches from my belly button and just above. Any suggestions or has this happened to anyone else?

I had the soreness post op around my port as well. I contacted my doctor and he had me come in. It was just normal healing and he said that you can experience some soreness when forming scar tissue around your port. My soreness occurred before I ever had my first fill. Since you have had fills, you may want to consult your doctor just to make sure that everything is A ok!

I agree... consult the surgeon!

My port is red and hot going to the doc tomorrow I'm only 6 days out from being banded
