Me too I can't eat as much but I can eat ! I tend to get super hungry and wolf it down .

I just banded a week ago. I had gastric bypass 14 yrs ago but drank some of it back on. Surgery is a tool. Helps with the capacity, not the compulsion. Now I have to stay away from alcohol and it's hard. Good luck. Guess if my self- esteem was better I would feel better. Still am a smart ass fat chick at heart. Kiss of death for relationships . :-(

I saw my doc sat I'm one week out he said there was water around the incision so it's hot and hard right now and to ice it it 4x a day for 20 minutes, seems to help.

I had the sane problem in the hospital I went thru 3 I've bags a Nd hadto be disconnected to pee all night they woke me every 2 hours

Doc had me do a long set of fluoroscopy photos to make sure everything was in place, nothing exceptional was found whew! Glad to be on this side of the surgery!

Well i banded Wednesday. Woke up in the hospital because doc said there was a lot of scar tissue from previous surgeries, with a drain and I've oxygen everything ! Actually the overnight helped me feel better and I am home now . Pain is manageable I have a new respect for hot peppermint tea, helps me feel better

Mine is tomorrow !!!!! Arggh! Trying to get ready for after surgery is like packing to tent camp , it seems to never end! Cat food for kitties? Check? House clean ? Check teacher sub plans written out? Check ... I'm nervous...

This is good to know, maybe upping protein will help the hunger? I have my surgery next we'd , getting nervous!

my surgeon only required 1 day liquid diet but I had to lose weight through a required program to get approved. Lost about 20 lbs.

I'm in reno and getting my band next Wednesday. Nervous but excited.
