Omygosh' date=' the first two days were awful. Then day 3 was better and today was pretty good overall. Even though I heard that the first couple of days are the worst, it didn't make it any easier.

One day at a time and hopefully it is better than the last.

Amen. One day at a time. I am having difficulty with getting enough Protein in. And the bariatric Vitamins make me want to puke. So freaking gritty. I wish they made gummies.

How much more/less did you weigh from being admitted to hospital to discharge?

The morning of surgery my Wii Fit weight at home was 257. They didn't weigh me there, just jotted down the Wii Fit weight. While in the hospital post surgery, they were worried about my low urine output, so they doubled the boley IV bags for 1.5 days. I developed a cough and my surgeon recognized it was because I had too much Fluid. Off the IVs and 2 diuretics later, no cough, I could breathe better and then I went home later that night. When I was home, my Wii Fit weight was 268! This morning it was 256. :-)

DebbieDenise -how are you doing day 2 post-op?

Just happy to know you are doing well no matter where you posted!

I went to my 6 day post op appt today and was down 11 pounds. The first 3 days were tough but today has been the best. It's no picnic, but I know it's the best decision. So glad to have met you all and have that extra support!!!
