Dumping Syndrome

Can you have dumping syndrome with the shakes/ hot flash / increased heat rate, but it pass and not have to actually "dump"?

I think I just had an episode after I ate Broccoli cheese Soup. It lasted about 15-minutes. I guess the soup finally passed through my stomach and now I am better, but man that was scary.

I am only 2-weeks Post-op today.

It happens to me a lot. Racing heartbeat, cold sweats etc usually it's sugar that does me in.

Okay, thank you. Maybe the soup mix had sugar and I didn't realize it. Glad it passed, it was the first time has happened and it scared me.

Could be fat content, too. My only dumping episode took place after eating 1/2 piece of bacon...
