I've been having some very strange pain/movements in my stomach since eating a bad batch of chili (w/ ground turkey) Saturday night (5 days now). I'm assuming it was the ground turkey that made me sick because I let it sit 2 days after thawing it out (kicks self).
The pain is not too intense (about a 4). But, the nausea and occasional "turning" of my stomach alarms me. It feels like I have a baby doing summersaults inside of me. I'm taking Tylenol Extra Strength for the pain, Zofran for nausea, and also a PPI.
I called my surgeon who suggested that I go to the ER. I DREAD going to that place. But, I will force myself to go if I can't figure out what's wrong with me. I already have a scheduled appointment with my surgeon on Monday.
Has anyone experienced this?
