Anyone take EmergenC?

Cold and flu season is coming up and I usually start taking a packet or 2 of EmergenC a day for prevention around this time. Does anyone else take this post surgery and have you had any trouble with it? It's basically a superdose of vitamin C, B vitamins, and zinc.

Isn't EmergenC slightly bubbly? I can't do anything that's bubbly. :(

Darn it, you're right. No emergenC then :-(. Although, I wonder if I waited long enough if it would go flat...hmmm...

I'm pre op but my husband and daughter both have sick symptoms and I love my emergen C- anyways reason I'm commenting is I drank half then had to help my daughter with dinner and forgot about - maybe 20 mins - and it was just like drinking flavored water!

I would not buy protein shakes stuff until after surgery. Have some samples ready for when you first get home so you have nutrition, but don't buy large quantities. My tastes have changed a lot.

Also, as soon as they let you, walk as much as you can. It will be slow and not far, but try every few hours or so.

I'll tell you I was terrified right up until the moment the anesthesiologist knocked me out. Then when I woke up, I was so relieved it was over that I didn't care what was going on.
