Kidney stones

I am almost 10 weeks out. About 11 days ago I go my first kidney stone EVER. Ouch! Then I ended up getting admitted to the hospital and getting an EGD and dilation. Yesterday I ended up in the ER with a kidney stone on the other side. Has anyone experienced kidney stones after surgery? Apparently WLS can make you more susceptible?

I'm still preop but just wanted to say I'm sorry. I'm sure those are pretty painful! Hope you are feeling better!

Please say it isn't so..........

The worst pain I have ever experienced in my life was my third stone. I have broke ribs, a leg and shattered my ankle they hurt but not as bad as my last stone.

I was able to pass the first two but the third they had to go in for it. Just to think that there may be more to come has me thinking about my next week surgery??

I feel sorry for you, but it sounds like you came through it OK. Good luck and hopefully it will be your last.

Thanks for the well wishes. Just because it happened to me doesn't mean it will happen to anyone else, I just wondered if anyone else had experienced an increase in them since surgery.
