I ate shrimp at about 4 weeks post op. I'm 6 weeks now and I can eat 3 medium shrimp...much better when they are sautéed not boiled. I don't eat meat so I don't know about steak.

I was around 7 weeks out when I did shrimp. No problem with it- did shrimp cocktail. Haven't tried steak yet. I'm a little over 2 months out. Surgery was may 30

I tried shrimp one month out, no trouble. Haven't tried steak yet. I'm pretty happy with seafood.

I tried shrimp at about 4 weeks and steak at about 8 weeks. No issues with either although steak sits better then shrimp. Weird.

I had some of that Gorton's frozen shrimp 3 weeks ago (I'm 2+ mo out) and it was ok. Had a bit of discomfort for about 30-45 min which happens after each of my non-liquid meals anyways.

Steak no. I don't eat beef at all. Can't stand it.

O have the pouch of steel...I can tolerate anything as long as I chew, chew, chew
