Horseback riding

Are there any fellow equestrians out there. I'm wondering how long it took to get back on a horse and any changes in they you feel on the horse. Changes in center of gravity?

It's a fantastic sport and great exercise. Horses are amazing and so therapeutic. Go for it.

Oh my, I would love to try horseback riding, but I was always afraid that horse would get hurt or kick me off... It is also one of the things I'd love to try when I lose weight... I guess it would be similar to riding a bike, no? You'd adjust to different G forces after few moments... I imagine :) :) :)
