Hot flashes

Hi guys! So I'm a week postop today. I've noticed a couple to three times a day I get so hot and flushed. My face neck ears all turn bright red. My mom panics and takes my temp. It's always normal. What's going on?? Should I call doc??

Thanks guys.

Oh yeah....and it lasts for like 30-45 mins!

Are you taking any pain meds? I am 8 days post op and had the same reaction to Loratab. Had to have my doc switch my pain meds.

I'm taking Hydrocodone.

I believe that is the generic name for Loratab. I had no other symptoms, just flushing. If you're having more then flushing you might consider calling your doctor.

Lortab is hydrocodone with acetaminophen. It is notorious for causing facial flushing.
