I would plan on taking my food items and watching the activities to make sure they weren't too much... but YES, I never turn down a vacation!! Make sure you drink plenty of fluids! And carry your food with you in your purse or backpack so you are not tempted to just eat what's available.

Good luck and have fun!

At 8 weeks I was on normal food with normal activity and felt fine. Enjoy yourself!

I went out of town at 3 weeks postop. You just need to be careful to get enough rest and get in your liquids and proteins. I went to grocery store after arriving at my destination and bought foods on my approved list. I even ate out a couple of times with no issues.

I'm at 5 weeks and feel fine. I would go on vacation in a heartbeat.

How is your health since surgery? No complications or issues? Eating well and staying hydrated? If so you should be fine, but definitely check with your doctor first.
