Driving or Exercising?

How long after returning home can you drive? Our surgeon sends us home with just Tylenol so pain meds wouldn't get in the way. Also I enjoy fast cardio and Just Dance on the Xbox, so how soon can any of that start? Got a bit of OCD so I'm def not going to be a slacker during this :)

My doc wants to have someone drive me to the one week appointment but also says it is OK to drive once off the pain meds. I have not heard about how long I will have to wait to exercise yet.

My doc said I could drive after I was off narcotic pain meds. You will be really tired from the anesthesia wearing out of your system. I remember after coming home from the hospital I would try to respond to text messages and I would fall asleep. I had my surgery on a Monday and felt perky enough to drive myself Sunday night. You will know when your ready.

I was cleared for driving and exercising 3 weeks post op.

I was cleared to drive one week post op (as long as I wasn't taking the pain meds anymore).
