Help! Post-Op Period for 6 weeks?

Hey Guys, I'm 9 weeks post op and have been on my period since week 3. It has no signs of stopping. I have the implanon birth control. My dr said its normal (2 weeks ago) so I'm afraid to call her and ask again. Isn't it unhealthy to bleed for this long? Did anyone else have this issue?

I would call md or go to the emergency room

Probably nothing to worry about, though you do have a great risk of being iron deficient. Maybe give the on-call nurse a call?
