Chobani vs Protein Shake

I haven't had surgery yet and I've tried quite a few protein shakes....and I hate them. Could I just eat chobani greek yogurt in place of a protein shake?

After surgery you need to get lots of protein in, my surgeon wanted a min. of 64 grams of protein daily, you will have to eat lots of yogurt and right after surgery you don't feel much like eating. Keep on looking.... there is a shake out there for you... or get the unflavored and add to your food. Some surgeons require you get like 80-90 grams of protein in daily.

One thing you need to take into place is your taste buds change after surgery so things you may not like now may taste good later and vise versa. I had surgery April 10. now 9 weeks out and I have went from wanting hot things like hot decaf tea to only wanting cold foods and drinks. bring on the ICE

I really like the Unjury chicken broth. I don't like the sweet ones and this one is like a nice warm cup of broth.

I'm pretty sure unjury also has an unflavored pritein shake as well. I'm not a fan of the sweet shakes. But who knows after surgery
