Congrats to everyone in "Onderland" your stories fuel my passion to join you soon. I'm five weeks post op and I've lost 49lbs so far. I began my journey WLS in January 2013 weighing 305lbs. I had my gastric bypass surgery April 21st and I love the transformation I'm undergoing. God bless you all for sharing your journeys it gives me hope and inspires me to continue to eat healthy and exercise every day.

feeling like a badass today! 9:00 am est and already have my 5 miles in ... Starbucks coffee here i come

Im not sure if i mentioned this before but if i didnt i have been remise.

2 words- Savory Oatmeal

Look up the recipes!!! Seriously its way healthy and a great quick meal you can cook at the beginning of the week. Oatmeal is no longer just for breakfast.

here is the one i have done twice and been very very hapy with

Irish steel cut oatmeal

onions

whole cut mushrooms

soy based bacon bits

olive oil

low sodium soy

sage

rosemary

garlic

salt to taste ( least bit possible)

pepper

Cook oatmeal seperate and use a butt load of onions and mushrooms saute the mess together and add to oatmeal as the last step.

You can cut up chicken fish or turkey into it. i like mine cold but you can work out the serving temp on your own

Look up other recipies they are wide and vast. next week im doing an asian oatmeal and following that a middle eastern one.

low cal, low fat, full of fiber and filling..with chicken or fish you get the added protien

Peace out skinny people

Sounds GREAT! I have found Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) by Bob's Red Mill. I use it instead of oatmeal. You get the fiber AND the protein. I use 1/3 cup in one cup of water and boil it down, takes about 10 minutes. I add 1/4 of skim milk and it has 19 grams of protein. I like to add some splenda sweetened vanilla syrup and cinnamon. But you could definitely use it for what you are making. I have been thinking fresh berries would also be good, but haven't tried it yet.

Thanks for sharing the recipe. I am always looking for something different!

I want to lose 10 more lbs but think it might be hard. I want a tummy tuck as I have serious skin issues on my tummy but im in a size 8 or 6 and feel great!!

and I need a breast lift, my breast are so small, there's no saggy skin, the cup size, I went from D'/DD's to a B cup they might be a bit smaller, although I've lost over 100lbs, I don't have saggy skin, however, I do have a small bat wing, lol...I'm glade I have arm muscles, lol

You made me chuckle, "my stomach is sad, sad, sad" too. I need a boob lift and a tummy tuck. I love you Juneies!!

Congratulations...

My hunger started back. Not too bad yet as I try and eat small meals several times a day. But I still notice it. Anyone else experiencing hunger now that we're almost a year out?
