So i ate a whole cupcake no icing and marshmellows out of cereal. I dont know why...ugh it was my birthday and the marshmellows called my name. Still under my 600 calories.

First.. Happy birthday! Second... How do you feel?? My birthday is July 8th and I would love to just even have a bite of something naughty. I'm scared though because I am only 3 weeks out and I don't want to encourage bad habits.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. I am 10 weeks out. I felt so guilty i addes an extra mile to my evening walk and had a long talk with myself. I didnt dump thank goodness. Getti g the rest of the cupcakes out of the house asap.

There was no icing on the cupcake.

So happy slacker day to me.

Had a caeser salad with egg yesterday and it still hasn't settled. I feel so uncomfortable and bloated

How far out are you? If you had your surgery in June, isn't it too early for salad?

Im 3 1/2 weeks and cleared to eat now except bread and steak.

Wow. Just goes to show how every doctor is different. I sure hope you start to feel better. Luckily I haven't had any stuck feelings yet but I sure remember that feeling from when I had my band. It is horrible. Maybe try liquids for 24 hours?

I am officially on this side of our June groups! Surgery went well yesterday and not too much pain. I'm just really tired but not able to get long stretches of sleep in.

Congrats on getting through day 1! I'm 10 days out and each day has gotten a little better. Hang in there, drink those fluids, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it!!

How regular is everyone these days? I was going every morning until yesterday. And now my stomach is queasy. Everything I eat (drink, actually) makes me slightly nauseous. I tried miralax...hope that works.

Thanks for thinking about me!!! How are you doing? I am home now. Just ate 1/4 cup of applesauce with protein powder added to it. Was all I could manage. My next big step is a shower!!

Great job w/ the applesauce! And I'm glad you're okay! I'm on my way home today, in some pain but no worse for wear...conquered showering...haven't really eaten guess that's next all I have a desire for is to drink my mouth is sooooo dry...yuk

I'm nowhere near regular. But I also can hardly eat thanks to my complications. Not much is gonna come out when only a few tablespoons a day is going in.

I had my surgery June 21. I am on water and protein shake for 2 weeks. It is so disgusting to drink. I can't wait to actually eat. Does anyone else have a lot of pain in their left side incision? Sometimes it hurts soooo much!
