Nervous!

Hi. I am new on here. I am scheduled for my surgery July 29. I am getting really nervous about the actual procedure and how my life is going to change. I've researched all the physicals changes but what should I expect as far as my relationships with friends and family? Despite the nervousness, I am still really excited!!!

None of my relationships changed, all my family and close friends that I told I was having surgery were 110% supportive. My BF just wanted to see me happy and he was supportive as well. I have heard that others get jealous etc. etc. but I have been lucky.

My relationships haven't changed either. I can still hang out with my friends, but just can't drink. It was awkward at first, cuz I was quite a party girl! ;) I survey some great friends so that helps!

What did you drink? I'm a beer drinker, but the carbonation won't be good. What can I try?
