More birth control advice please

I know I said I was going with the shot...but I just got a new position at work that will be changing my hours a bit and I will not have any days off during the week anymore to go to the doctors for shots. SO.....when I go at the end of this month I was thinking of asking about Nuvaring. I still am unsure about it. There are many things about it that make me nervous. But it would definitely be more convenient. Who has this and what are your experiences? I feel like it would kinda get lost lol...is it easy to put in and take out? Any issues at all? What about spotting? Falling out? Sex? Lighter Periods?

I just went back on nuvaring. I loved it before so I decided to use it after surgery. It is very eady to put in. It goes in just like a tampon without an applicator. Very easy to get out when needed. I have had no problems with spotting and I don't feel it during sex. It doesn't bother my husband either. And the ligher periods are the best. Went from using pads and tampons to only having to use light tampons.

And it's really easy to put in/take out? The whole 'foreign object' thing makes me nervous.

Yup, just push it up in there til you don't feel it. I take it out while sitting on the toilet, makes it easier. My gun lets me keep it in for 4 weeks then replace. I spot lightly For a day or two but no periods. Woohoo!
