I hate the scale

I'm a scale-a-holic...I weigh every day. Last week I went up 2 lbs...I know it varies but it hasnt come back off.

My surgery was 3 weeks ago. I think I'm already stalled. For some reason, I thought maybe I would be one of the lucky ones that this didn't happen to...guess not!

I do get at least 60g of Protein, 64oz Fluid and walk at least 40 mins a day (2 miles). I am still on pureed, avg 400-500 cal per day. I'm exhausted.

I am going to try to not weigh again until my one month check up on 5/10.

This is so frustrating. I was in a 2 week stall prior to surgery...and niw again? I cried a lot yestetday. Ugh.

Calm down. I feel like the pot calling the kettle black, I am in the same boat .. 2.5 weeks out I stalled for over a week today is 4 weeks for me and I lost 5 pounds. Keep doing what your doing.. It's what I have to tell myself.. It will happen. I also was scale obsessed. I now only weigh on Wednesday, I call it Weighday :)

Exactly! And I can't even eat something bad or have a glass of wine to make my day better! Lol.

Im afraid to eat I dont want the scale to go up so im still doing shakes even after my dr told me I could do soft but with the shakes u can keep better tabs in calorie and protien im not going to lie I want to be skinny yes I want to be healthy but the idea of being skinny is what I want

Don't get discouraged, I stalled 5 months post op for 3 months. I too am a scale-a-holic, just stick to your plan with diet and exercise and it WILL come off. We all lose in different ways and time... hang in there it will move !

I was a scale freak when I first had my surgery. Now, it comes out 5 times a month. On my anniversary date and on Fridays. I realized the more I obsessed over it the more stressed I got. The weight will come off and stalls are going to happen. I stall every month for 1-2 weeks sometimes 3 weeks at a time. Just remember just cause the scale isn't moving that the inches are not coming off. My best advice is to weigh AND measure yourself once a week.
