Going for my 1 week post-op appointment tomorrow! I can't believe it's been a week already!! Fingers crossed for a good wl amount- according to my scale I'm down 13 pounds- I'm curious to see how close his scale and mine are :-) also hoping I don't get in trouble- I moved myself to the puréed foods and soft foods stage earlier than his schedule- but I've done really well with it! We'll see what he says :-)

Is it weird I don't have a 1 week post op apt?

I go 3 week post op, then 3 months, 6 months, then yearly.

Just a word of caution... Dont move to quickly into stages. The pouch needs time to heal which is why the guidelines are there. Good luck on your appointment.

Yeah- I got in trouble for it :-/ have to stay on liquids for 1 more week then I can move to soft foods. Said if I come off liquids too soon I could pop a staple and that would be very bad :-( so I will obey drs orders this week :-)

Rem I think each dr is different. I had my 1 week today and don't go back until July
