Itchy!

Today all my incisions feel like they are on fire, rhetoric itch like crazy, i have 6 instead of 4 because i had to have two surgeries. I've put Eucerin lotion on three times in the last 2 hours. Gonna take an oil bath if it doesn't stop soon.

Try an anti itch lotion with hydrocortisone from the drug store. Benadryl lotion is good but I got the aveno lotion last year after getting my gallbladder out. Also get yourself some mederma do the scars fade away. I'm using both now cause like you they itch like crazy!

Same here. Not even 4 days post op. using neosporon cream over the tape and Benadryl gel. Not much relief.

Watch cellulitis if itchy and red call MD you skill need antibiotics....

Oh, good I thought I was going crazy!!! Glad I'm not alone. I got my staples out a week ago but still have a lot of scabbing. I'm going to try the neosporin!

I got an anti itch cream with hydrocortisone and also mederma scar therapy. The hydrocortisone made the itching go away and the mederma is helping my scars fade.
