I had surgery at 7am Thursday 4-4-13. I'm still in the hospital .. I'm full of gas and bloated my stomach is of course sore but I did great I even walked 11 hours after surgery, did 5 laps. I get my upper GI tomorrow morning, if no leaks I get start drinking!!!

It keeps getting better especially after 3 weeks. Keep the faith.

It's definitely surreal to be on the other side. I'm about 2 weeks out and sometimes I even forget. You'll be feeling great in no time. Just keep walking and as soon as you can, sip, sip, sip! Congratulations and wishing you a speedy recovery!
