Hey to all of my rny forum!! Hope everybody is doing great and awsome! Question im starting the appointments process but have anyone have an approval for wls without any health related conditions?? ex diabetes high blood pressure etc. im lil bit concerned that i wont get it. have been fighting obesity for more than 10 years tried everything and nothing pills diet excercise crashing you name it bmi at this moment 42 so hopefully ill get approved beacuse of my bmi and by the way my genes sucked my mom grandma from both sides open heart surgery and high everything!!! Blood pressure sugar thyroid all the bad stuff! Do they tk in consideration you fam history too?! Dont want o get there like my grandparent and mom i want to tk control of my life an hopefully i wont get denied still moving foward with my appts and prayed up!! That it will come through for me! Thanks for taking time to read this and support and beautiful words always!!!...

Some insurances say BMI >40 and no comorbidities....call your insurance, they can tell ya! Good luck!!!

HW 312, pre-op (lap-band) 294, pre-op (RNY) 255, surgery date 2/11/13, goal weight 154, current weight 225

      Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
      Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?

      Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
