Vitamins..in what order?

I started taking my chewable Vitamin 3 days post-op, I can begin tomorrow vitamin b12, Iron & Biotin. In what order should I take them daily?

I usually take my synthroid and Centrum chewable first thing in the morning.

Here is the regimen my nutritionist put me on:

8am - B-12 & Calcium

11am - Multivitamin

2pm - calcium

5pm - multivitamin

8am - calcium

Just make sure you take your calcium at least 2 hours away from your Iron (or multi that includes iron). Calcium blocks the absorption of iron.

I take my thiamine, multi Vitamin and B-12 in the morning.

Then between 12-2 I take my chewable calicum with Vitamin D 500.

Then between 5-6 I take another multi vitamin

Then at bedtime I take a chewable calicum citrate/vitamin d 500 again.

The most important thing is to wait 2-3 hours between Multi vitamin and calcium due to absorption issues. Some people take calcium three to four times a day and this depends on the strength of calcium. I know calcium chews you need to take more of.

If i were taking Biotin or Iron I would take those in the morning right away but I am not taking either of those at this time.

Thanx everyone. I forgot to add the Calcium also.

The vitamins I take are all inclusive for bariatric patients. I just add a scoop of powder to my protein shake in the am and I have my vitamins. Except for b12 and I take it in the am as well.

It is called new life bariatric. Takes the guess work out of everything!

I take a one pill a day multi-vit after eating it is nasty but worth it....B-12 in the morning and D3 sometime through out the day. I did use biotin for a while but no iron.
