I am starting a new job at the end of the month. Its a retail type of job. I plan on having surgery hopefully in august. Should I mention it now or wait till its closer to the date.

Depends...how long would u be off and would u have vacation, sick or FMLA to cover u.

I think I would start working, work hard, never miss a day ( to prove my worth) then say I need surgery I will b off they may be more understanding.

Best Wishes :)

FMLA
