Eating a lot

So. I'm about 6 weeks post op and I find that I'm eating a lot more then I was. Like I used to only be able to eat 1/2 a Protein bar, now I can eat the whole thing. Is this normal so soon? I'm also feeling hunger? I thought that nerve was cut off?

Are you getting all of your fluids in? I was nervous about being able to eat so much after surgery but once I paid closer attention to my fluid intake, I wasn't eating as much solids and not as hungry because I was constantly drinking...sip sip sip!

It does change at about 6-8 weeks it seems. But the liquids do help. The swelling has gone down so you can eat a little more.

This is scary. I'm only 2 weeks post and scared to eat anything fearing I won't get full fast.

Just keep measuring your food and you will be fine.

Help anyone?? 11 days post op and have lost 11 pounds. I see people droping weight so much faster. Is this normal?
