Diarrhea

8 days post op. I was going to the bathroom fine. Yesterday, got stomach cramps and had a bout if diarrhea. This morning again, same thing. Still in puréed. Have eaten only apple sauce, yogurt,, cottage cheese, malt o meal. Along with icky protein drinks. Should I be worried?

I would not worry as long as its not super dark like blood you are not eating anything solid make sure u drink enough so you don't become dehydrated

Called the dr. Said to eat some plain Greek yogurt to increase probiotics. If I still have tomorrow to go in due to dehydration issues. He said it is not normal and is not dumping.

What are you mixing with shakes. If its milk, you have become lactose intolerant. I got diarrhea with the milk in my shakes. Switched to lactaid fat free lactose free milk or supermarket equivalent and voila, no diarrhea.

Mix Protein with my decaf. Not a lot of dairy in my diet yet, except yogurt. The diarrhea just happened out if the blue yesterday. Feeling better and no bouts if it, since I tried the plain Greek yogurt. I'm going to have to try this on my kids. Thank you got the advice! I appreciate it. ;)
