3 hour psyc evaluation?

I made me psyc evaluation app today..they said it would take 3 hours! What!! what do they do for 3 hrs? Anyone know? Please let me know :)

Mine was one hour of talking and a test that had 425 questions that took about two hours. All for them to tell me that I'm not bipolar, or narcissistic and I genuinely love my family. I could have told them that in five minutes. :)

Mine was a questionnaire I had to fill out before then an hour conversation. They are just trying to find out if you have any serious issues that would make the surgery less successful. I wouldn't worry about it. I was totally honest and I didn't have any issues.

Thank you all so much for letting me know..feel much better now :) just got done with the seminar. And i was approved for surgery thru my insurance.. Woohoo! I am so ready for this. I have though and prayed a long time about this very difficult decision. I know ot is the right way. I will keep you all posted. I still hav to go to my reg family doc so he can fill out some papers and i hav to do the psyc evaluation... Getting closer and closer!! :)

Oh, and i am sticking with the gastric bypass. Not because it is better but because it is better for me. all surgies look great, but it is what you think will be good for you.
