Another question

Sorry i full of questions tonight! I was wondering if anyone on here rides horses, and if so how long did you wait after surgery before riding again.

Can't wait to get back in the saddle!!

This is a good question. I believe that there is so much going on with horseback riding that I would probably think 6 months. Lifting yourself in the saddle...the risk of falling...the motion on the abdomen would be extremely painful. Talk to your doc.

Great question! I am wondering the same. I am also a skier, and my doc said that I may be able to get the end of the season which would be 6 weeks post op for me. I haven't asked about riding.

I was able to play soccer 6 weeks after, but my first few games back were really tough on me.
