Frustration and depression....

So, I've been working very hard to log absolutely everything that goes in my mouth. Tracking every calorie, every bite. I'm walking at least four times a week. I'm trying so hard to prove I can lose a little weight during this six months pre-op weight loss. Yet this morning I got on the scale and was up in weight. How is this possible? I'm so frustrated I just want to eat whatever I want. Forget all the healthy stuff, if it doesn't matter why not eat the yummy food. I'm so frustrated and it's so depressing I don't know what to do.

Just keep doing what you are doing. Keep trying to up your protein, it really does help. This is a long journey and you just need to take it day by day.
